Michele brings an empathetic perspective to her work as an information and referral specialist. She has lived experience with opioid addiction, incarceration, and homelessness, which enables her to connect with and understand the needs of those who are struggling or going through similar challenges. When overcoming addiction, she began working a 12-step program and found a job working in sales. Being passionate about helping others who are struggling, she decided to take a leap of faith and start working at Recovery Connections. She believes strongly in the power of family and friends in recovery and is committed to reducing stigma around addiction. Today, she loves spending time with children and making new memories!
