Michael Dickerson, CRPS-A
PEER RECOVERY SPECIALIST
A person in long-term recovery, Michael is originally from Lynchburg, Virginia, where he was in the Ironworking industry for twenty years. After going to long-term treatment in South Georgia in June of 2019, he then went to work as a Peer Driver for Turning Point Care Center. In July of 2020, he went to work for the Peer Support, Wellness, and Respite Center of Colquitt County, where he became a Certified Peer Specialist. There he discovered he had a passion for helping others with his life experience. He is an active member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness as well. After relocating to Orlando in January 2022, he came to work for Recovery Connections of Central Florida. Currently, Michael is also pursuing his Bachelor of Social Work.
