Hello, I’m Daniel Cody, a dedicated individual on a journey of redemption, resilience, and recovery. My path has been marked by challenges, including struggles with substance abuse and encounters with the criminal justice system during my younger years. However, these adversities have only strengthened my resolve to pursue a life of purpose and positive change. Currently, I am immersed in the process of becoming a certified recovery peer specialist, a role that resonates deeply with me as it allows me to support others who are navigating similar challenges. My journey into this field began through volunteering, where I discovered a profound joy in giving back and sharing the wisdom I’ve gained through my own recovery journey. I am honored to be a part of Recovery Connections of Central Florida, where I am actively involved in extending support, guidance, and empathy to individuals seeking recovery. My faith plays a central role in my life, and I attribute much of my progress and strength to the unwavering support of a higher power. Without God’s grace and guidance, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
