HUMAN RESOURCES

Born in New York and shaped by life across six diverse states—New York City, Union (NJ), Central Florida, Great Falls (MT), Richmond (VA), and New Orleans (LA)—Andy Sankhi brings a rich, lived understanding of people from all walks of life. His professional journey spans a wide range of fields, including mental and behavioral health, long-term care, hospice, healthcare administration, government work, sales, retail, hospitals, warehouse operations, farming and human resources. Each chapter has contributed to his deep empathy, adaptability, and cultural awareness.
Growing up in his father’s poultry butcher shop in NYC, working on the family farm in Florida, and enjoying basketball and fishing, Andy’s life has been anything but conventional. From being a high school dropout to earning a GED and ultimately a Master’s degree, his story is one of resilience, growth, and purpose.
Andy is especially proud to be part of Recovery Connections. His personal and professional experiences align closely with its mission. Coming from a family impacted by generational substance abuse and trauma, Andy brings not only professional insight but also lived experience to the work—creating a strong foundation for helping others heal and thrive.
