Cory Fisher serves as Chief Operating Officer at Recovery Connections, bringing a rare blend of marketing expertise, lived experience, and strategic leadership to the organization’s mission.

Cory began his professional journey in the marketing world in 2010, right at the height of the social media boom. Starting as a marketing assistant, his sharp strategy, relentless determination, and creative vision quickly propelled him to national-level marketing work for multiple companies.

Behind the professional success, however, Cory battled addiction in what he describes as a “work hard, play hard” environment. Finding long-term recovery became his turning point. He walked away from the corporate grind to rebuild his life with purpose and set his sights on transforming systems from the inside out.

Cory joined Recovery Connections as a volunteer and has grown quickly alongside the organization itself. He has been pivotal in its growth, implementing programs that reflect his deep understanding of recovery and community support. Now, as COO, he’s on a mission to blend for-profit innovation with non-profit impact. Cory leads with heart, strategy, and a clear vision: expand recovery access, break down barriers, and build programs that truly work.

When he’s not driving change, you’ll find Cory buried in a good book, lifting heavy at the gym, or enjoying life with his partner.
